This mouse is fantastic. Really, REALLY good buy for such a low price.
-Comfortable in hand
-Mouse and buttons are really responsive
-Braided cable is long enough to stay out of the way
-No software support (ie: drivers, programming software).
-Every time the mouse is disconnected, it requires a boost in Dpi (button press), so it doesn’t “remember” settings.
-Center click is weird – it only goes down, and slightly to the right, making a center click, rather than having a 3-way click scroll wheel. It’s odd.
-Mouse buttons get stuck if there’s too much weight on your palm. There is a slit down the center of the mouse (effectively extending the “click zone”) that causes the buttons to get stuck. Really bad in intense circumstances.
-Really light mouse, lifts off mat easily
-Braided cable is too light and can get in the way or tangled at times.
While it looks like the bad outweighs the good, you really have to look at price-point here, folks. The mouse outperforms many others, and I’d consider it to be nearly on-par with some of the best gaming mice I’ve used. This mouse kicks serious ass compared to £75-£150 mice in the same league.
After about a month of use, I’ve discovered some annoyances. The left mouse button, and both of the side buttons will “forget” they’re being held down after a couple seconds. I have gone back to using the Cobra Junior, which behaves properly, and will be contacting e-3lue to see about a replacement for this one.
