So it seems our dreams finally became true. Yesterday Rockstar games announced that they would be releasing a sequel of the game Red Dead Redemption. After a weekend of Rockstar teasing us with its images on Facebook and Twitter they released a post yesterday of a picture saying the game will be released in Fall 2017. They have also released that the game would be coming out on Xbox one and Playstation 4 (no sign of them mention PC).
As you can tell the game not making it to a PC platform (yet?) has really upset a lot of PC gamers out there. It has upset PC gamers that much that they have started a petition on Change.org called: Rockstar: Release Red Dead Redemption 2 on PC. You can find the link to the Change.org webite below. The petition has been up for a over full day now, and it has already reached a collosal 20,000 signatures.
Cited in a press release as “an epic tale of life in America’s unforgiving heartland,” Red Dead Redemption 2 is a sequel to 2010’s Western epic Red Dead Redemption, which is itself a followup to 2004’s Red Dead Revolver.
Rockstar has also announced that a trailer for the game will hit the internet this Thursday, October 20, at 11 a.m. Eastern. How exciting!
